Rainbow Colors was founded in 1988 by Peter and Claire Markow when both were working as waterfront directors at the YMCA camp where they first met. After being frustrated in their attempts to find the perfect tags for the camp's buddy program, they decided to start Rainbow Colors and produce their own.

Over the years, the product line has been expanded to include a variety of products related to camping and water safety. 20 years later, Bud E. Taggs are selling stronger than ever -- nearly 2.5 million sold throughout the United States and Canada. And, they've been featured in the American Red Cross training manual, Lifeguard.

All of the company's products are made in the U.S.A. of environmentally friendly, recyclable materials. Many of our customers now re-order year after year.
